About Us
Heywood in Bloom are a voluntary organisation who work closely with environmental services across Heywood. We work with all the council services to enhance and add to the flower displays, planters, hanging baskets etc. Working with schools, sheltered accommodation, friends of parks, businesses, scouts, guides to encourage community involvement in environmental projects. We have worked closely with our council to catalogued and eradicate Graffiti across heywood. We offer advice and help to new groups who wish to join in with our entry into Britain in Bloom. We are proud to say we have now achieved Gold Standard for Heywood in Bloom and Gold Standard for our Town Centre.

In 2018 we have plans!
Heywood in Bloom has made contact with many businesses across Heywood some now enter the annual judging by Britain in Bloom. Schools take part along with Parks sheltered housing schemes and individual groups. Several businesses support us with funding and the offer of goods and help with our projects. In 2018 we have several ongoing projects and we plan to complete work on two new sites. We are also organising a fundraising event which will be at our headquarters TOPS The Old Police Station and will take place in May.
