NEW LEADERSHIP FOR HEYWOOD IN BLOOM IN 2025

After many years as Chair of Heywood in Bloom, Ellen Yates has handed the reins over to Iain Donaldson, and experienced allotment gardener and community activist.

Iain stated that "Ellen has truly set a wonderful standard during her time as Chair, and we have a lot of work to do to keep up the standard she has set. We have a few projects that are ongoing all year round, and look forward to welcoming new members."
"This year will be about consolidating the work that Ellen and the team have done in the last few years, updating our admin, and moving to a more sustainable programme of planting to ensure that we can attract wildlife and make Heywood a pleasant place to work all year round."
